Bloggers are writers (at least those who deserve the title). And real writers and freelancers are artists or craftsmen depending on which they prefer.

When news broke out that Massachusetts bloggers who were covering trials were given the same privileges as traditional news media, I waited for even just a small celebration from the blogosphere. Nothing. Only 14 bloggers expressed enthusiasm by comments on my blog post. Imagine artists supporting ACTA. Then there was the news that freelancers suffered an average loss of $6,000 from bad clients. I was shocked and asked myself how did that get that far!

About two years ago, I made the prediction that bloggers will be divided into 2 factions: those that were controlled by ‘the system’ and those who were not. It seems my prediction is being proven true as time goes by. As for freelancers, why aren’t we doing something for our continuing…
